I purchased my first Triumph in 1964, a new Herald and what a fantastic car that was. In over 200,000 kms of hard driving it rarely let me down.

I have driven a number of Triumphs around W.A. and Australia and they have proven totally reliable.

The level of engineering and forward thinking was extremely good and in some cases exceeded that of much more expensive makes.

Comfort, handling and fatigue free driving over long distances is outstanding.

As a result, when the decision was made to enter the motor industry as a mechanic, it was an easy choice when it came to deciding the make of car in which to specialize.

Since starting out in 1964, my daily driver has always been a Triumph model of one sort or another.

Loved them in ’64 and still do.
